Zhang Shaowei

Principal, Qingdao Guoji Foreign Language School

Zhang Shaowei, born in September 1983, is from Shangyi, Hebei Province. He holds a Doctor of Education degree from Tsinghua University. He currently serves as Chairman and Principal of Changshui Education Group, and Principal of Qingdao Guoji Foreign Language School.

He founded Changshui Education Group in 2005. The group is one of the earliest educational institutions in China to implement group-based school management, with business covering high school education (including vocational and general education integration), educational technology, educational research, and educational services, forming a relatively complete modern education system.

He has received numerous honors, including being among the first batch of mentors in the Ministry of Education's "National Pool of 10,000 Outstanding Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentors," a recipient of the "Education Industry Contribution Award," and a "Model Worker of Yunnan Province."
